Orchords is a small remote software studio. We keep sustainability statements modest until we have measured data, a reporting period, and a method worth publishing.
Remote by default
We operate remotely and avoid unnecessary travel where practical. We do not publish headcount, office, or travel-frequency claims unless they are current and supportable.
Hosting
Our public website is hosted through Cloudflare. Cloudflare publishes environmental and renewable-energy information about its network; we do not claim that each request is served directly from renewable power or that our own footprint has been independently audited.
What we don't do
- We do not publish a sustainability report until there is a clear scope, method, and reporting period.
- We do not market sustainability as a product feature.
- We do not use carbon-offset claims as a substitute for measured operations data.
